I think you miss CB so much The video was really entertaining, I really liked the experiment you tried. I had no idea to why the mouse controlls can't be mapped, but it turns out that mouse movement controls don't appear in that menu. I would like to have controller support, but I have no controller to test the game. Even though we had a hard time at one point, you're always welcome to come back @stalker is back as well, so... you have nothing to hesitate from. Come back in the family! https://discord.gg/w9ffhx8

Yup, you can only map the Horizontal (+, aka Throttle and Brake) and Vertical(-, aka Steering Wheel), but these two can be set like 2 or 3 times, they do the same job. Also sometimes pressing left and right caused it to reset the car. Controls were: L1 - Left Steering R1 - Right Steering Triangle - Reset Circle - Reload X - Gas Square - Brake Also sometimes pulling the left joystick up and down caused the car to turn left and right, while left and right did nothing...weird. What i wanted to anchieve was to set the right joystick to turn the camera, but i was shocked to see that there is no such setting for that one. I was thinking that its hard-coded into the game that is should be controled with mouse, maybe thats what it is, maybe not. It really felt like playing TimeSplitters again, real nice, but aiming with the mouse is a pain in the butt in that game, sensitivity is extreme, one slight movement will shoot the cursor into outter space. Here, i had to make it really sensitive, and it turned out to be great. (but it wasnt the controller so it was kinda hard) My original plan was to buy a Guitar Hero controler (as i said it many times "This game should have a Guitar Hero controller support added to it"), but i can only buy that from China, and it would be a PS2 contoller, but maybe one day! Also wanted to play with a steering wheel, but you already know how bad the pedals are. When i played Richard Burns Rally today, i couldnt even control the throttle, it was stuck on 100%, i was like "Nope nono steeringou wheeliou" It literally became a "Stuck Pedal" challenge. And the brakes are digital too, meaning that they are just as bad, but this doesnt get stuck, sometimes glitches between 0 and 100, but only rarely. The ORIGINAL ORIGINAL plan: I wanted to record the Soundtrack of one of my favourite PS2 game, because no one else did it so far. Only the menu theme is the one that cannot be found online. But i failed to do that just because i wanted to do it like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RC4vHa3pcO4&feature=youtu.be I dont know if you know anything about console video cables, because i only know a few things, but it was connected to the TV like this: PS2 Console -> RGB (Composite Cable) -> Orion DVD Player -> SCART -> TV Oh...i just noticed there is no record feature on the DVD Player...oops Yeah i already told too many things. Alrighty!

Hey i found a method to record sound! I need a cable that has 3.5mm plug on both sides, one goes into the TV headphone jack, the other into the pc microphone jack. I have to open audacity, pres the record button, BAMM! wohoo i will be able to record some songs! Yay!

So i setup my joystick, had to go to the manufacturers website to download the drivers for win7 ( first time i've used it in win7, apparently win10 auto installs the drivers). Tested it in carbattle.. it does work for car steering, but, there is no settings for the camera control, not even key input.. it looks like the camera is hard codded to use the mouse only. It seems in the carbattle "input" tab there are 2 sets of horizontal & vertical, both for car steering, one set for key input, the other joystick input... they can be mixed a bit by assigning joystick buttons to key input as well... But the the camera / mouse control is missing and needs to support joystick usage.

Yos, thats why i needed to also use the mouse while playing. As long as i remember, in Unity, you can somehow define controls (Horizontal, Vertical, Jump, Fire 1) that are connected to keys + alternatives. Would that work if some definitions were created for the mouse controls? Because then it would kinda work, not sure if this method is the wayy to go! Also, if it works, dont do it the way how many racing games do it: You turn the joystick, but when its released, it gets reset. Somehow do it like this: Camera Angle + Joystick Power + Joystick Angle = Camera Movement + Speed
