Okay, so what happened? Was it the monitor, video card or anything else? No, actually. So a while back i played some CB. Weirdly, but only for me, the monitor started to flicker and fade out completely on any part of the game. So my friend came to check things out. First we thought it was the monitor, but it turned out it wasnt. I downloaded a hardware monitoring app to see some temperature stats, nothing changed. Then we found out what it was. It was the game itself. So whats the deal? Welp the game might be running too good on my PC. My advice is that @PowerSupersport, i dont know what the game has behind the scenes, but you should add Vsync if it does not have, and most impprtantly, a frame limiter, so it wont run at 200FPS while it shows its 60FPS, because these are probably the problem. Oh and also check out some of the shaders. My friend also told me it might be some shaders not loading in, not sure. Yos my monitor is good now! Have a good day! or night or when you read this idk

Ooookay then? Well, what if other players of the game have the same configuration as me? "Why make half of your audience not be able to play your game?" Probably millions of other people use an I5 CPU and a GTX 1050 TI, and they might have many older and modern games, that the game might not like when actually playing. My dad has the same config, the game does the same, he even has a different monitor. I didnt sad that "Oh its bad cuz this and that", this was just some sort of help, of what should be fixed in the future, so more people can enjoy it. And what if its actually Unity doing this with my PC? Its literally impossible that Unity might be doing something bad. Unturned, a game made in unity, has no problem like this whatsoever. So it might be some game files that the game is missing for now. The other thing that i was talking about was frame limiting. Test Drive Unlimited is limited at 60FPS, it runs at 400FP. Even if limited to 30, does the same. So i recommend trying out some setting in the editor, that might fix this issue. I dont know what to fix, im not the creator of the game, but you are. Make the game compatible for more people, it WILL be more enjoyable if you dont need cracks, fixes and patches to make it work. It wasnt me arguing, but rather trying to help where to go to fix this problem. Have a nice day!

Listen here bud, take your bs arguments to a different forum. Your stated points has nothing to do with the game but rather your hardware. Tearing is caused by disabling V-Sync (lowest graphic option might disable this, but not that I'm aware of), which is on btw. Or your monitor can't handle the refresh rate. So if he capped it to 60fps, some people with 40hz will experience possible tearing if the game runs at 60fps. This game has been tested on at least 20+ computers, none of which had a problem except your home pc's. Now suddenly you think you're a smart ass by calling up your friend who probably also know jack-sh!# about software saying it's the game. Combined me and @powersupersport have been using Unity for over 5 years. So trust us when we say this, IT IS NOT THE GAME!!! If you still have more questions you can call me or message Power, but don't publicly shame the game because of your stupidity!

As @f1andre said, the game has vsync when you run it on ultra, very high, high and medium settings. So, fps is definetly not the problem. I doubt shaders would be because I use unity's standard shaders anyway. Also, verify that you're running the game on the NVIDIA and not on the integrated gfx card.

Okay okay i get it, I might have sad something that is not the problem there. I can say stuff that might not be true, thats fine. I accept what both of you said, i cant add anything else to what i said. Also, i didnt know how much time you two spent on Unity until now. I get it, you used it now for a long time, but i dont have that much knowledge in it, im into it only for 3 weeks. You know more about it, i dont, thats good.

I read somewhere about vsync.. i don't think it's a bad idea if vsync was a manual option for the players just as resolution is...

Thats a pretty good idea right there!

I pretty much hate v sync, makes me super motion sick, also causes input lag, also if a game can run above 60 fps i would like to run it at that point not being limited by my monitor.
