The front of the car looks really like a Camaro one and the back kinda looks like what an old dodge would have. If you modelled all of it by yourself - congrats, nice job!

Man, the model looks super dope! But You really gotta work on those materials there mate. They look really non photorealistic. Do you know about the Principled BSDF?

@dedted I think you should take your photorealism down a notch. Some people aren't interested in mega realistic creations. And this is an old render of his after all so...

Looks solid man! Great job. Now for some feedback try to make the car spin slower. That's it. If you want to make the reveal a bit more pleasing when the car is revealed make the lights flicker a bit. There is a bunch of ways to improve on this, but it looks very good for a first attempt. @dedted there is nothing wrong with his materials (really-really minor). It is that there aren't much environment to reflect and thus the material looks somewhat off when it really is just a lack of reflections. A good example is the beautiful smooth curves on the bonnet of the car. It is only visible in the reflection of the light above. Anycase you can find fault with professional's work too, so I'm never too worried about small imperfections the first time around. The most of what I and the rest of the guys said you most likely already know. I hope to see more work from you Keep at it

I think the focus here is not really the realism, but more like on the car itself. I remember that this car is actually an original work of @dogtorque. So, the render looks really decent just for a showcase.

yeah, I do try to make it as realistic as I can make it. but I'm still learning when it comes to materials and the nodes.and besides, I use cycle render which does not have the principled node.

@dogtorque, Cycles has the principled shader

I think you are using an older version, latest version is awesome for materials...(2.79)

is the principled shader for 2.79? because I wasn't aware of a new version of blender. I'm currently on 2.78 but I will update though.

Update to 2.79 and make sure to have Filmic as well.

I like it, great model. It always amuses me when people talk about "photo realistic", what about life realistic - when was the last time anyone raced a car that reflected every aspect of the environment and was polished to a mirror finish, or your eyes saw lens flare etc.

Guys, but I don't find the filmic addon in my 2.79, probably, is it default?

@famer, you have to download filmic externally Here's a link to Blender Guru's video on how to add it: https://youtu.be/m9AT7H4GGrA

What time period are you living in, man . It's now integrated inside Blender!

I'ts supposed to be but it's actually not working at all. I even tested it myself.

You're supposed to change the render view from default to filmic.

Do it and see if there is any difference in anything. ... I told you I've tested everything about that part and I've figured out the integrated filmic isn't working. You have to install it manually.

@powersupersport, I've already watched that video and added that to my 2.78, I just asked if it was default in 2.79...

@thunder It's working. I tested it using caustic rendering and 32 bit HDRIs
