Hey, guys! It has been ages since we've done some kind of a contest.

Now, since ClassDev is opened and I finally have the time, we can organize a contest together. Would be very cool to open that area again.

So, let me know what you'd like the contest to be about (Game or 3D Model), share your opinions and ideas, and I am definetly looking forward to reading them

I think it would be sick, First of all if you had monthly contests. Second of all, It should definitely be a model creation contest

Trust me, I would definetly like to have monthly contests, even ones with paid prizes, but time and money just don't allow at the moment. But I'll do my best. Thank you

To be honest I feel that the contest limited the participants in the previous contests. So what I suggest is a contest that enables creators of all types (2D/3D, Digital/Sketching etc.). A game is good idea but will take a  lot of time to implement and develop... mind you the game jams can do it, so why can't we (thinkingFaceEmoji).

Any  case, something allowing all artists to participate (maybe you enter for categories?)

How about a pixel art contest? We've never had a pixel art competition before and also it would be a great way to learn more about this new field

I actually agree with most of the ideas. I only doubt the pixel art one.

Pixel art is both easy and hard, but I don't think there's enough challenge in this one yet. But we'll see...

A soundtrack contest sounds cool too. Too bad I've sent my laptop for repairs. Even after I get it back, I'll need to install all the synths again x(. Can use my tablet too but there isn't a version of Ableton out yet lol so I'll have to stick to Drum Pads.

About the song - yeah it's a trap. I made it using Trap Drum Pads 24. It's a really cool app, but you'll need a fair amount of practice to actually be able to make something that sounds good on your own.

Hey guys. How about a Minecraft themed render competition?

Minecraft is just too easy... Including the plugins for world import it just makes the scene modelling take less time than the actual rendering. And that just devalues any render.

And that also adds a challenge. It'll be no longer about modelling skills but lighting, compositing and materials
