hi kulu, how did your foray into unity go? did you hit a similar dead end to 3drad or just loose interest?

Hello guys. Good to see you guys still keeping on track. Never give up, is what I noticed on this forum. Well I haven't given up on video games , just took a really long break to explore other developments in my life. But honestly , my lack of traction in attracting gamers with my games did demotivate me quite a bit.

So I tried conveying my story telling efforts through my first love , which is 3d animation. That yeilded some good results, but no rock star label attached to my alias. But I've met some cool people through my story telling efforts.

Currently looking for a new job, while freelancing. Collaborating on a small game with some young guys I met on Facebook groups. I'm currently doing 3d environments for them.

I can't help but try and give the younger guys a boost of whatever kind I can. Part of what makes the 3d industry bearable....sometimes you find someone you just can't resist lending a hand to.....

I lost all my old 3d rad project files, hard drive crashed and turned. Unity was going well but the programming side never stuck in my brain, but I might give it another bash. But I want to relive my 3d rad days a bit too......
