119 Megs? Holy oof. What engine did you use?
Good day, everybody. I made my first tower defense game and I would like to share it with you. Feedback is welcomed screenshots in the attachments. The Lone Builder You, as a builder, have to defend your crystal from getting destroyed by enemies that are coming from every direction. You can only build, but the hostiles are careless to you. They just wanted that shiny purple crystal. Control -) W,A,S,D or arrow keys to move -) [Q] to access BUILD MODE -) [E] to access DEMOLISH MODE -) [SPACE] to place / destroy the building Tips -) Stand on the building to repair. Build Healing pad for faster repair/construction. -) Healing pad's effect is not stackable. -) Less Turret means more fire speed. More fire speed means stronger defense. just like carball, its a nice little functional game, good job! not sure if you still mean to do anything with it, but the graphics are the only real turnoff

There is absolutely nothing I can do to optimize the size, I have tried anything. Seems one of Godot downside it is. Thanks. just like carball, its a nice little functional game, good job! not sure if you still mean to do anything with it, but the graphics are the only real turnoff Very helpful, thanks. I will put more effort into the graphics in the next project.

Okay... So I double checked the asset and turns out the BGMs are the cause. They took 80MB space, I compress it and now this game size is approximately 55MB.

I failed straight away -_- but toher than that... lol... this game is freaking cool! You've made one of those addictive games man, good job. Thanks, really appreciate it. Some redditors say that this game has a potential to become addictive, too. But since all the testers are developer as well (not a real user), I will just keep a straight face and not gonna fall into some sort of 'confidence boost'.
