In April 2004 a team of German developers won the first prize in the 96k game competition at Breakpoint.
Their entry? .kkrieger (German for warrior). This thing relies on extensive use of procedural generation techniques. This bad boy also has shadow effects way better than 3D Rad and visuals rivalling that of Doom 3.
